Welcome To Grade Primary Gregory
With only 20 days in school Grade Primary is soaring.
Soon we will have pictures of what literacy learning looks like in our room.
Literacy - Language themes this month will include Thanksgiving, Halloween, the colours yellow, blue and orange and fall.
We will working on rhyme and alphabet as well as learning to read more words.
The children have all begun to "write" stories using pictures and letter or word labels and are super proud to be authors.
Science and Social Studies - I try to alternate these subjects. We are finishing Senses and All About Me and will begin a unit on Families.
Math - Math will be focused on patterns, graphing and 2D geometry.
Your children are small but what they are doing is important for life.

All I really need to know I learned in kindergarten. These are the things I learned:
Share everything.
Play fair.
Don't hit people.
Put things back where you found them.
Clean up your own mess .
Warm cookies and milk are good for you.
Your life needs balance. Learn some,think some,draw, paint, sing ,dance, play and work every day.
And when you go out into the world , watch for traffic, hold hands and always stick together.
